We get your workers to engage with each other in ways that means each team member is an essential part of the whole. Happy workers who like one another are more productive and willing to work harder. Our teambuilding events help your individual employees to form a team that stays together, works together, and achieves together.

All you need is to provide us with a suitably large space and 25 – 50 participants and we will do the rest.

PLAY IN A DAY

Play in a Day is exactly what it says on the tin. Our facilitator starts work with your group at the beginning of the working day and by the end of the day the group produces a production to show to an invited audience. The group does not need any previous acting ability and our experienced facilitators are experienced in supportively encouraging the less confident people in the group. The emphasis is on working together as a team to produce a piece of work that the whole team is proud of, not on individual skills.

This method of working is a great way to encourage effective communication and awareness of others, to improve concentration and active listening skills and show how these things can help to achieve shared goals. It also has the added bonus of enhancing public speaking skills and increasing individual confidence. Your team will come away with a better understanding of their colleagues, a better understanding of themselves, a new perspective on working creativity and with a sense of a shared experience.

Teamwork

Everyone’s skills are used and used in different ways. All those involved will be a part of the process, at whatever level is appropriate. The list of possibilities is only as short as the imaginations of those who participate.

Creativity

We tap into each individual’s creativity and then bring them together allowing ideas to be exchanged and developed and new ones built up to produce clear objectives.

Confidence

Each person will be stretched but only to the degree that adds to his or her confidence. The sense of achievement both on individual and group terms will add to each person’s feeling of self-esteem and self-worth.

Innovation

The structure, format and content can either be created by you or you can decide to work on a scripted piece that we will write for you. Nothing needs to be prepared beforehand, the only things participants need bring with them are their ideas, creativity, and the commitment to see it through to the end and have some fun.

Act On Info will facilitate and direct the process which will start with a warm up, an introduction to improvisation, and then the creative process. This will result in a show that will be like no other and we can guarantee that the participants will remember the experience for a very long time.

What else is involved?

A Play in a Day can be delivered as a one or two day event dependent on your needs. After the performance, will be a process of debriefing and exploring the group dynamic and how they have developed and can continue to develop to work together in a more productive, creative and efficient way.
