PSHE BASED DRAMA WORKSHOPS: KS2
SMOKING PREVENTION – PLAY IN A DAY
ACT ON INFO turn up, start work with a class at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day the class perform a 10-15 minute play in front of an audience on the topic of smoking. Within the play we look at what smoking does to your body, what is in a cigarette and resisting peer pressure. Play in a Day drama workshops can be used to introduce or conclude topic work, to ease transition, to promote inclusion and for revision. For more details see our Play in a Day page.

SMOKING–PREVENTION – INTERACTIVE DRAMA WORKSHOP
Initially commissioned by the Manchester Stop Smoking Service, all our training and information on smoking comes from these NHS experts. We have translated the hard hitting facts the experts gave us into a drama workshop containing interactive quizzes, exploding chemical cocktails, The Amazing Mervin and his moustaches, Professor Wheelie-Bin’s races and our very own version of a daytime TV chat show featuring Jermy Vile.
Our main aim is to give young people an objective view of smoking enabling them to make safe and informed choices through a fast paced, fun, interactive drama workshop.
