PSHE BASED DRAMA WORKSHOPS: KS2
PEER PRESSURE – FORUM THEATRE WORKSHOP
This forum theatre drama workshop for KS2 raises awareness of peer pressure and its effects, by exploring what peer pressure means, the difference between negative and positive peer pressure and how we can cope with negative peer pressure by developing assertiveness and coping strategies.
We use a dramatic scenario to show an instance of negative peer pressure. The young people then explore each character and their motivations using hot seating and forum theatre techniques, eventually taking over the scenario for themselves to establish the effectiveness of their suggestions.
Act on Info is also experienced in working with your existing anti-bullying policy or helping to revise or devise a new policy.
