PSHE BASED DRAMA WORKSHOPS: KS2
ANTI-BULLYING – FORUM THEATRE WORKSHOP
Happy, Safe and Confident
This forum theatre drama workshop for key stage 2 pupils raises awareness of bullying and its effects, by exploring how bullying makes us feel and how we can deal with it by developing assertiveness and coping strategies. The pupils watch a short scene showing bullying which explores the roles of “bully”, “victim” and “bystander”.
The young people then explore what was happening in the scene by hot seating the actors. Using forum theatre techniques, we get suggestions from the pupils as to how the characters should have behaved, with the pupils eventually taking over the scenario for themselves to establish the effectiveness of their suggestions.
Act on Info is also experienced in working with your existing anti-bullying policy or helping to revise or devise a new policy.
