HISTORY BASED DRAMA WORKSHOPS: KS1
HISTORY – DRAMA WORKSHOP DAY
Based around a history topic of your choice our facilitator can take your children back to events in history using fun and informative drama games, activities and techniques to bring characters and events to life. In one school day we can work with four classes on a one hour workshop or two classes on a more in depth two hour workshop.
History Topics to choose from:
Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole
Watch out for cannon fire! Who were these inspirational pioneering women and why do we remember them? Come with us on a voyage of adventure.
The Great Fire of London
Travel back in time with us to 1666 to Pudding Lane and meet King Charles II, Samuel Pepys and the Lord Mayor of London along the way. But be careful not to touch – it’s hot!
The Gunpowder Plot
Come with us to 1605, where a man called Guy Fawkes and a group of plotters attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London with barrels of gunpowder. Boom! Does the plot succeed or fail?
