KS1
We have a range of Play in a Day, drama workshops and assemblies suitable for KS1 and 2.
If you are looking for a great day for your KS2 class have a look at our Play in a Day page. We turn up, start work with one class at the beginning of the day and at the end of that day the class perform a 10-15 minute play in front of an audience. We have Play in a Day covering a range of topics.
If you are looking for more than one class to take part during the day take a look at our interactive drama workshops in which we can cover up to four classes in one day.
Alternately we also have assemblies which are suitable for whole Key Stages.
Simply ask yourselves which area of the curriculum you are interested in enhancing with a drama workshop then find the right workshop for you using the links on the left.
Drama workshops for schools are invaluable as they can be used for so many different ends. They can enhance your pupils understanding of many subjects, develop communication, speaking and listening skills, teach the importance of teamwork, negotiation and maintaining appropriate responses as well as stimulating imaginations and facilitating creative expression.
When children have fun whilst they are learning they make an emotional connection to the work which helps them to better remember what they have learnt.
We use a number of drama techniques which will help even the most reticent of children become part of the learning – working creatively works just as well, if not better, with children who are not as confident or as academically high achieving.
Our drama education workshops can stimulate creative ways of working for teachers as well as pupils.
