Well, although Wimbledon is well and truly done it still doesn’t feel like the summer and we’re considering emigrating to a warmer climate! But we can’t because we’d miss working in schools too much. We can’t believe that next week will be our final week in schools for this school year it’s gone so quick.
We’d like to say a special thanks to all our brilliant drama practitioners and actors who work for us doing such a wonderful job bringing the curriculum alive for schools up and down the country! We are very proud to have such a talented bunch working for us, and look out for more of their own productions, namely Ruby Flew Too at the Lowry Theatre, Manchester on Sunday 5th August a fantastic play for ages 3 – 7 all about a duckling finding her feet! Also Page-2-Stage who has just finished a whirlwind tour of the funniest Midsummer Night’s Dream we have ever seen, but will be back bringing Shakespeare to an open air venue near you next year! Well done guys!
This week and next we are going out with bang performing more Olympic themed drama workshops and play in a day, working on a school play all about WW2, as well as Shakespeare drama workshops galore!
We are also very pleased to be educating the children of Lambeth and Southwark with our Healthy Eating Show – Meal or No Meal, which features the Pickle family who go on their favourite game show, meet celebrity chef Jammy Olive and learn all about healthy eating – now where did we put those mushy peas?
We are now taking bookings now for next year’s anti-bullying week and have a range of anti-bullying play in a day and anti-bullying drama workshops to choose from, so get in touch now as we get booked up early!
