Eating chocolate can be good for you!

The best food news I’ve heard in ages and just in time for Easter too! Apparently eating chocolate has an effect on your blood pressure and studies have revealed that if you eat a small amount of it every week it can reduce your risk of heart problems. However, eat too much and it can cause you heart problems so, unfortunately, scientists are yet to reveal that we can fill our faces with the lovely stuff whenever we like. Great to know, though, that we can enjoy chocolate as part of a balanced diet. So make sure you get your five a day and a balance of carbohydrates and protein and then enjoy those Easter eggs, guilt free. Right, I’m off to include a section about chocolate in our Healthy Eating workshop. Think I need to do a bit more research first though, now what’s best? white, milk or dark…
